The Placer Physical Therapy Team

Meet James

James has a passion for getting people moving, active and feeling young again (even after years of aches and pains). On a daily basis James treats clients looking for answers to their questions about how to stay active and decrease their pain.

He has been highly sought after as a specialist to treat these conditions by those who want to remain active and take control of their pain. James believes it is necessary to spend adequate time examining the patient as a whole and taking into account each individual’s specific needs/goals in order to provide a true solution for his patients.

In his free time you will find him spending time with his wife and sons, hiking, running (trying to keep up with his sons), playing the piano, playing basketball, or listening to music.

Meet Jeremy

Jeremy’s interest in physical therapy began as a youth athlete while recovering from sports injuries. After finishing his athletic career, he went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University. Since graduation, Jeremy has completed extensive post-graduate training. He has a proven record helping people recover from muscular injuries, lower back pain, sports injuries, and mobility problems. With the use of cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practice, Jeremy is focused on helping people get back to their activities. Jeremy is married to his amazing wife Katie, and in his free time he enjoys running, hiking, and playing soccer.

Meet Kelsey

Kelsey is an Auburn native who discovered her passion for Physical Therapy while rehabbing sport related injuries throughout her athletic career. After playing 4 years of collegiate volleyball she went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College of Blauvelt in New York.

Kelsey enjoys spending time learning about her patients to better understand their personal rehab goals. While maintaining an interest in sports injuries; Kelsey also enjoys helping patients improve their balance, gait, and overall mobility in order to restore proper function, and help them feel more confident in their day-to-day lives.

Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys coaching volleyball locally at the high school and club levels. She also likes spending time outdoors hiking along the American River, as well as exploring around Lake Tahoe.

Meet Kristi

After working many years in the Physical Therapy field, Kristi found her home away from home when she began working alongside James in 2015, and then Jeremy in 2017.

Kristi’s voice is most likely to be the one that will greet you when you call our office. She takes pride in her role as first contact with people and strives to make each person feel welcome, important, comfortable and understood. Her sincerity and warmth have proved to be very popular with people as she never hesitates to take the time to speak with them and to find out how we can best help them.

She is married to her husband and has 2 adult sons. You may find Kristi out on the field with her coed softball team of 18 years, listening to her oldest son’s band play at local venues, or camping, hiking, and kayaking.
